Flying banners straight are feather-shaped outdoor promotional flags with a straight, horizontal bottom edge. Designed for high visibility, these flags combine a flexible fiberglass pole, modular aluminum sections, custom-printed flag fabric, and a selection of bases for different outdoor applications.
The advertising flag pole features a flexible fiberglass top section that works much like a fishing rod. It is thicker at the bottom and gradually tapers toward the top, providing excellent bending performance and allowing the flag to move naturally with the wind. Below the fiberglass section, plug-in aluminum tubes form the main pole. When multiple aluminum sections are used, they gradually increase in diameter from top to bottom.
Each lower aluminum tube is pre-fitted with a cast-aluminum female socket. The upper aluminum tube or fiberglass rod simply inserts into the socket, creating a practical plug-in connection between sections. The bottom of the system connects to the selected base.

The flag graphic is produced using direct digital dye-sublimation printing on lightweight flag fabric, typically around 110g. The overall graphic has a feather-like shape, while straight refers specifically to the horizontal straight bottom edge. This clean profile works well for logos, brand messages, directional graphics, and promotional artwork.
Both single-sided and double-sided graphics are available. A single-sided flag uses one layer of printed flag fabric. A double-sided version consists of two fabric layers with a black fabric layer between them. The black inner layer helps prevent the artwork from showing through from the front to the reverse side, providing cleaner graphics on both sides.
Seven base options are available: ground spike 60, ground spike 60 with bearing rotation, cross base tube 60×80 with basic rotation, cross base steel 40×60 with basic rotation, cross base steel 60×80 with basic rotation, cross base steel 40×60 with bearing rotation, and cross base steel 60×80 with bearing rotation.
Base selection should take into account the installation surface, pole height, and expected wind conditions. As a general rule, taller poles and stronger winds require larger and heavier bases. A water tank can also be added to increase ballast when additional stability is needed.
